Q. What is the culture at Purdue?
Purdue is truly dedicated to physician and patient. Founded and
managed by physicians, it is guided by the idea that we can change people's
lives in a meaningful and positive way through our medications.
Purdue's companies, all privately held, put great value on their employees and are
concerned about their well-being. They pride themselves in having a workforce
composed of smart, hard-working people of diverse gender, age, and culture.
Purdue practices affirmative action because it is convinced that it is the right thing to do, not
simply the law. Purdue expects its employees to work hard, share the company's
commitment to physician and patient, and think about their work outside the
confines of the office and the traditional work day. In return, they are treated
well and compensated fairly.
This unique culture provides employees with a supportive environment and first-class facilities. Purdue
fosters a spirit of cooperation and open communication; it encourages creative
and entrepreneurial thinking; and it is
dedicated to quality products and unparalleled service to society.
