Tuition Reimbursement Program:
Purdue encourages the education, training, and development of employees consistent with both organizational needs and individual career development. The Tuition Reimbursement Program may provide you with assistance in paying qualifying tuition costs. For additional information, please contact your local Human Resources representative.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
The EAP is a confidential assessment and referral service that can help you and your family deal with life’s challenges. The EAP may assist you with concerns such as marital or relationship issues, divorce, child and adolescent concerns, depression, stress, substance abuse difficulties, and legal or financial concerns. There is no charge to employees and their eligible dependents for using the EAP. However, if you are referred to additional resources for help, there may be a charge for those services. Child-Care Assistance Program:
The Child-Care Assistance Program can help you learn about your child-care options, evaluate different resources, and obtain the best possible care. It also includes referrals to licensed child-care centers and family daycare programs, and assistance in finding qualified in-home caregivers. For additional information, please call 1.800.833.8707.
Elder-Care Assistance Program:
The Elder-Care Assistance Program can help you with residential/housing concerns, financial issues, legal planning, Medicare and Medicaid, family stress, and caregiver concerns. For additional information, please call 1.800.833.8707.
Back-Up Care Advantage Program™:
Purdue has partnered with Bright Horizons to provide the Back-up Care Advantage Program. Back-up care can be used when regular child care or adult care is unavailable as a result of situations such as illness, vacation, or school closure. Back-up child care and eldercare is available at a modest co-payment for up to 10 uses per calendar year. Both center-based care and in-home care can be utilized based upon need and proximity to an available center in the Bright Horizon’s network. Adoption Assistance Program:
A $5,000 adoption assistance benefit (subject to withholding tax) will be provided to each active employee who adopts a child.
