Income Protection

Short-Term Medical Leave:

The company self-administers and self-insures medical leaves of absence of up to 180 days. Upon receipt of appropriate medical documentation, the company will provide eligible employees with short-term pay in accordance with this policy. Please consult your Employee Manual for detailed plan information.

Long-Term Medical Leave:

The company provides eligible employees with long-term disability coverage through its insurance carrier beginning on the 181st day of medical leave. Employees are covered under the long-term disability program on the first day of the month following six months of continuous, active employment. Please consult your Employee Manual for detailed plan information.
