Our Leadership Team

Edward B. Mahony

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mahony began his career at Purdue as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1999, with responsibility for all fiscal, procurement, and information technology departments.

Mr. Mahony serves on a number of leadership committees including Purdue’s Executive Committee, the Commercial Product Portfolio Committee, the Business Development Committee, and the Compliance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Norwalk Hospital.

Mr. Mahony joined Purdue in 1993 after 15 years with Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in finance for the International Pharmaceutical Group and later as Vice President and Controller of the U.S. Consumer Products Division.

He earned his BS degree in accounting at Manhattan College and his MBA in finance at New York University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in New York in 1977 and began his career in various audit capacities at Price Waterhouse and later at Touche Ross & Company.
